🌿 Terms & Policies

I want to create a smooth, relaxing experience for everyone, so please take a moment to review my terms and policies before booking:

1. Booking and Appointments

• All sessions are by appointment only.

• Please arrive on time to allow for a brief intake before your session. Late arrivals may result in a shortened session time to avoid overlapping with the next client.

• Referral bonuses apply to paid sessions only and do not include sessions booked with gift cards or promotional vouchers.

2. Cancellation and Rescheduling

• Online cancellations or reschedules must be made at least 72 hours before your appointment.

• Changes made within 48 hours require contacting me directly via text, email, or call. (419-310-8478) (knead1@katysmasageservice.com)

• Cancellations or reschedules made with less than 48 hours’ notice may be subject to a 25–50% fee, depending on circumstances and at the discretion of the provider.

• No-shows will be charged the full session rate via the card on file. Exceptions may be made for emergencies, at the provider’s discretion.

• A maximum of 3 cancellations (within a 3-month period) is allowed. Excessive cancellations may lead to a pause or discontinuation of services. If a cancellation is required, you must reschedule within 24 hours to avoid any penalties.

• Appointment Limitations: In extreme cases of frequent rescheduling, we reserve the right to limit future bookings for the client. This may involve restricting the number of appointments that can be scheduled within a certain period or requiring approval for each booking.

  • Pre-Payment Requirement: Depending on the frequency and impact of the rescheduling, clients may be required to pre-pay for future appointments. Pre-payment ensures commitment and helps mitigate the effects of last-minute cancellations.

  • Definition of Frequent Rescheduling: Frequent rescheduling refers to clients who repeatedly cancel or reschedule their appointments with short notice (less than 24 hours) or who frequently change their appointment times.

  • Impact of Frequent Rescheduling: Frequent rescheduling disrupts our ability to serve all clients optimally and may result in missed opportunities to offer appointment slots to other clients.

• Emergency Situations: Life happens. If you experience a genuine emergency (medical, family, weather-related, etc.), please notify me as soon as possible. Documented or clearly communicated emergencies will not be held to the standard cancellation or reschedule policy. I trust my clients to be honest, and your well-being and safety always come first.

3. Health and Wellness

• If you are feeling unwell, have a contagious illness, or are experiencing any condition that may affect the safety of the session, please reschedule.

• I reserve the right to end a session if a client appears ill or unable to safely receive bodywork.

4. Respect and Boundaries

• All sessions — whether massage or Reiki — are professional, therapeutic services.

• Any inappropriate behavior will result in the immediate termination of the session, and full payment will be required.

5. Shared Space Awareness

• All sessions are conducted in a shared space within Woven Yoga Studio. Appointments are scheduled between yoga classes to ensure that during your session, the space is exclusively yours — calm, quiet, and uninterrupted.

• Please be aware that there may be some crossover as clients arrive or leave before and after your appointment. Thank you for embracing the warm, welcoming energy of this shared space.

• Because my hours are limited due to the shared nature of the space, it is especially important that clients honor their appointments. Late cancellations and no-shows limit my ability to serve others and affect the sustainability of my practice.

6. Payment

• A card on file is required to secure your appointment. The remaining balance can be paid at the time of your session. Accepted payment methods include:

• Cash

• Venmo

• Cash App

• Credit/Debit Cards

• All prepaid sessions are considered non-refundable deposits that secure your scheduled time. These may be applied to a rescheduled appointment only if changes are made with at least 48 hours’ notice.

• All sales are final. Cancellations are non-refundable; however, paid services may be rescheduled when done within the allowed timeframe.

📜 Client Agreement & Liability Release

By booking a session and/or signing the required intake forms, you acknowledge and agree to release Katy’s Massage Service and its practitioners from any liability related to the services provided, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Clients are expected to communicate openly, arrive on time, and honor the policies outlined here so that we can work together in a space of mutual respect, healing, and professionalism.
